About Me
Sarah Schlosser is a graphic designer and artist based in Athens, Ohio, with over four years of professional experience in design. Specializing in book design, layouts, infographics, and templates, Sarah brings a unique combination of traditional craftsmanship and digital design expertise to her work.
With an MFA in Book Arts from the University of Iowa's Center for the Book and a BFA in Printmaking from Kent State, Sarah has a deep appreciation for visual storytelling. She leverages her research-based approach to design, ensuring that each project is both conceptually rich and visually engaging. Skilled in both traditional and digital techniques—including printmaking, hand lettering, typography, and the Adobe Creative Suite—she crafts designs that communicate clearly and creatively.
In 2021, Sarah was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to travel to India, where she researched traditional natural dyeing techniques with local craftspeople. This experience not only enriched her design practice but also inspired a series of best practices for naturally dyeing handmade paper in collaboration with a local research institute.
Since returning, Sarah has focused on graphic design in the private sector, working extensively on design projects for public involvement.
