Behavior Charts

The Process

In collaboration with a child therapist and psychiatrist, I designed a series of visual charts and schedules to support her ADHD treatment and daily routines.

The Process

When I was researching reference materials for this project I kept hitting the same wall, all of the charts I viewed were fictional but not something the tiny people in my life would use. I spent researching what the average 10 year old was into and settled on kawaii cats. These charts were carefully crafted to be both engaging and functional, reinforcing the skills she was building in therapy in a way that felt fun and achievable. While the designs are cute and kid-friendly, the ultimate goal was independence: helping her master routines and self-regulation skills so thoroughly that the charts would eventually no longer be needed.
