The Project:

The Strategic Public Engagement Guidance is a first-of-its-kind document that offers in-depth direction on how to effectively engage hard-to-reach communities. Designed to support more inclusive and impactful outreach efforts, the guide provides practical tools and strategies for meaningful connection.

The Product:

The document is fully linked and cross-referenced, allowing users to easily navigate between related sections and resources. I followed this project from start to finish, creating the template, graphics, illustrations, and layout. Once the layout was approved I guided the document through the full 508 compliance process to ensure accessibility for all users. After the document completion I designed the accompanying marketing campaign. This document when on to earn the Texas Department of Transportation a Transportation Communication award for best internal document.
