Texas District Bike Plans

The Project

As part of the Texas Department of Transportation’s initiative to improve statewide bicycle infrastructure, I developed four custom District Bike Plans tailored to regional needs.

The Process

I led the design of the layout and template, working closely with our subcontractor and client to create engaging, fully 508-compliant documents—including accessible, user-friendly maps. While our sub contractor provided select info graphics and maps, I managed created the template, layouts and illustrations thought the document. One of my favorite touches: a tiny bicycle that rides along the bottom of each page—just one of the subtle themed elements that make these plans both informative and enjoyable to read.
